Windows on your Mac

WinDock

A focused Windows 11 ARM virtual machine workflow for Apple Silicon Macs. Less VM setup, more getting things done.

WinDock does not include Windows, Windows installation media, or a Windows license. Windows is provided by Microsoft and must be obtained, licensed, installed, and activated by the user.

Focused Windows VM workflow for Mac

The everyday VM tasks, simplified

WinDock is not trying to be a giant VM console. It focuses on installation, running Windows, and the daily bridges between macOS and Windows.

Guided install

Open Microsoft's Windows download page or import a local ISO, then create a local Windows 11 ARM virtual machine.

Shared files

The default shared folder is WinDock Shared in Documents, shown inside Windows as W:.

External disks

External disks connected to the Mac can appear through Mac External Disks inside the shared folder.

Clipboard sync

Copy and paste text between macOS and Windows for everyday notes, links, and snippets.

Audio output

Windows app, browser, and video audio can play through your Mac.

Local by design

Your virtual machines, shared folder, and settings stay on your Mac. WinDock does not collect personal data.

A clear setup path

WinDock reduces manual VM configuration and keeps the necessary steps in one focused flow.

Get Windows

Download Windows 11 ARM from Microsoft or import a Windows ISO you already have.

Create the VM

WinDock prepares the local VM disk and runtime components.

Finish setup

Complete the Windows installer and activate Windows according to Microsoft's terms.

Start working

Use Windows with W: shared files, text clipboard sync, audio, and external disk access.

Prepared for the Mac App Store

WinDock is planned for Mac App Store distribution. This website does not provide a standalone app download; after approval, this section will link to the App Store product page.
