Verify the download
The SHA-256 checksum of the outer ZIP must match:
14c77ab4098c02e4d14009d2f8e891715dc4df27c85e14b840c2db1d1f406419
Run this command in your download directory:
shasum -a 256 WinDock-2.1.2-Build27-ThirdParty-SourceOffer.zip
Compare the result with the value above. Alternatively, download the checksum file from this website, place it beside the ZIP, and run:
shasum -a 256 -c WinDock-2.1.2-Build27-ThirdParty-SourceOffer.sha256
Extract the source materials
Unzip the download and read its README. The upstream sources are inside Resources/Tools/SourceOffer/archives/WinDock-Sources.tar.xz. Follow EXTRACT.md, use a new empty extraction directory, and allow about 3 GB of disk space.
Do not extract inside the installed, signed WinDock.app. Archive integrity checks do not claim that a fresh engine rebuild has been completed.
Also available inside the app
The complete bundled upstream source contents remain available locally in WinDock. The R2-hosted file is an additional download channel. Launching WinDock, installing Windows, and running a VM do not require this source download.
The WinDock application is distributed through the Mac App Store. This package contains no Windows ISO, activation keys, user virtual machines, or complete proprietary WinDock app repository.
